Advanced Warfare features a wide variety of different multiplayer weapons, ranging from simple assault rifles to powerful plasma-rifles, these can be customized with different attachments which most regular COD players will be aware of. The games Pick 13 system works like in Black Ops II by giving you the freedom of choosing the weapons, attachments and equipment that you want.
You can choose one primary and secondary weapon for you loadout – the primary can be fitted with two attachments and the secondary with one. You can unlock one extra attachment slot for both weapons by using the “Gunfighter” Wildcards.
The equipment in the game have been replaced with the wrist-mounted “Exo Launcher” that can be loaded with lethal and tactical projectiles.
There are five types of primary weapons and two types of secondary weapons.

- Launchers
Assault Rifles
- Bal-27 – Fully automatic with the best fire rate in its class. Fires faster over time.
- HBRA3 – Fully automatic. The first three rounds of a burst fire faster. The HBRA3 has the best handling of all the assault rifles.
- IMR – Fires four-round bursts with the highest damage in its class. Uses 3D printing to create bullets to its ammo reserve.

Submachine Guns
- KF5 – Fully automatic with the best range in its class. The first five rounds of each magazine deal increased damage.
- ASM1 – Fully automatic with the best damage of any SMG. Accuracy increases when fired continuously.
- SN6 – Fully automatic with the best accuracy in its class. The first three rounds of a burst are fired faster.

Sniper Rifles
- MORS – Bolt action railgun with the best handling in its class.
- LYNX
Shotguns
- Tac-19 – Directed energy pump action shotgun with the best mobility in its class.
- S-12
- Bulldog
Heavy Weapons
- EM1 – Shoots a constant beam of directed energy with the best damage of its class. Requires no ammunition, but nonstop use can make it overheat.
- XMG – Two fully automatic machine guns in Akimbo. The weapons fire rate and accuracy can be increased if put into lockdown mode.
- EPM3 – Semi-automatic plasma rifle.
- AMELI – 5.56mm light machine gun.
Pistols
- Atlas 45 – Semi-automatic pistol with the best handling of its class.
- RW1 – Break-action railgun with the highest damage.
- PDW – Fully automatic machine pistol with the best fire rate of its class.
- MP443 Grach
Launchers
- Stinger M7 – Player or air support lock-on missiles.
- MAAWS – Free-fire shoulder-mounted launcher with laser guided missiles.
