As we expected, E3 2014 brought some good news on the subject and the firm revealed that GTA 5 will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One this autumn.
Update 12/09: After being tipped for 7 November by a retailer, Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 5 will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 on 18 November. However, it’s bad news for PC gamers who will have to wait until 27 January.
Rockstar said: “In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, players can expect a range of additions and improvements including new weapons, vehicles and activities, additional wildlife, denser traffic,a new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more.”
