I can safely say I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been immersed in the incredible world of Skyrim since its release a few months ago and as we have already established… One does not simply finish Skyrim. But for all you die hard Elderscrolls fans there is more excitement and never ending questing on the horizon. Zenimax Online Studios and Bethesda Softworks will be releasing the all encompassing MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online in 2013.
Set in the land of Tamriel, 1000 years before the events of Skyrim, you will be able to journey through the provinces of Morrowind, Daggerfall and Skyrim and everywhere in between. Players will enjoy a whole new rich and endless storyline that occurs just before the rise of Tiber Septim where the daedric prince Mogal Bal tries to pull the whole of Tamriel into his realm and three great factions are struggling to take hold of the Imperial City. I personally am most excited that I will finally be able to band together with BadZombie (admin and boyfriend for those new to 247) to kill some dragons, sneak around like a boss and join the Giants Space Program together.
In my opinion Elder Scrolls games have never failed to disappoint and with over 20 years of successful titles its hard not to let the excitement overwhelm you when you think of all the possibilities of exploring the rich and well though out environments of Tamriel. If you’re not a social person you can still solo the hell out of this game and be the lonesome warrior should you so please but I thought Skyrim would have been enhanced by a multi-player element and Zenimax has delivered so you might as well make the most out of their bountiful gifts of gaming and play with friends, alliances or guild members. All in all a very exciting announcement and all the latest screen-shots and trailers will be here as they are released so watch this space.
